Love and trust, faith and hope,
all that's spiritual in life...
brings laughter, teardrops, joy and pain
brings happiness or strife.

Do you believe in god?
do you believe in war?
have you ever asked yourself
what the fuck am I here for?

Love and trust, faith and care
out of body kind of shit
wake up, change up
curse and pray..
the game is tag..
you're it!

Love and trust, faith and hope,..
who is real and who is fake,..
what is a pope?
what 's wrong with smoking dope?
should I forget the image of
a lynched black man
hanging from a rope?
should I just praise the lord and cope?
while Africa starves,
no food, no peace,
no soap?

Love and trust, faith and hope,..
superficial whims at best,..
cheap fodder in the media,
fed to the slaves
living in the west

Love and trust, faith and hope,
in country and in creed;
propaganda creates enemies
it's patriots they need

Love and trust, faith and hope,
based on a dried up ancient text,
someone sold someone a book,
got babies dying everywhere,...
this shit is off the hook!
and brother, you die next;....

And a lie is all it took
